For students staying in New Haven over breaks when the dining halls close, we will be coordinating communal meals with FGLI students living off-campus to ensure students do not have to stress about having enough food and money during break. In partnership with the Yale College Dean’s Office, the Asian American Cultural Center at Yale (AACC) has developed the Yale University Career Closet. The Career Closet is a source of professional clothing for students that need professional attire for interviews, receptions, and all other formal events.

Winter Clothing Grants
Connecticut winters can be frigid, but the Yale College Deans Office can offer Winter Clothing Grants to students with financial need, who unfamiliar and under prepared for winter. These grants can help new students get winter basics (e.g. coat, boots, gloves) to manage the New England winter months.
